Arctickitty or anyone on board, could you possibly take a picture of the table and chairs by the Salty Dog Grill and/or Slice Pizza by the windows?    We are going to be on Crown soon and we thoroughly enjoy sitting on Lido looking outside the windows and into the pool areas for hours at a time.    It’s a great way for us to relax and enjoy Lido without being in the sun.   We also typically eat our lunch at the grill or Slice.  Was just wondering what the sitting was like and is it comfortable.    THANK YOU SO MUCH IN ADVANCE!!!

News flash!  Ensenada has been cancelled.  We will dock for immigration purposes only.

We had planned to spend $240 in OBC on a Zipline excursion.  We booked Crown Grill for tomorrow night but are open to suggestions for what to do with the rest of it.

I recently received a Pandora bracelet..so I’d probably check the charms out, or buy a bottle of fancy liquor as a gift for someone at home. If Deal or no Deal is your thing, that’s a fun way to blow 25.00. But…a small chunk  would also likely make its way to the casino…to cash it out. I won’t leave any OBC to be wasted.

Any  information on why getting off in Ensenada has been canceled? Is it the storm/weather that’s going to be coming? Well you definitely wouldn’t want to  leave any onboard credit in your account unless it’s refundable and even then I’ve been reading people have been having difficulty receiving it. How about a picture of you  and special someone if you took any,how about going shopping for something in the stores or can you use that money at the casino? Have no idea I don’t really gamble .

If it were me I’d be looking at jewelry (specifically Brighton) or getting a few pieces of clothing in the gift shop.

At least you had a heads up on Ensenada.  We circled the island three times before the Captain told us we wouldn't be docking.  Boat came out to us to sign documents and we had another sea day.  LA/Catalina became San Diego/Sea Day/Sea Day.  What fun.  Loved it!

Weather report for Ensenada has rain.  Wonder if the 20 mph plus winds will keep you from docking.

Buy a nice bottle of Scotch, Tell them to leave it in cabin D714 for the May 23rd sailing.......

Hurricane Ian interrupted 2 ports for me on Celebrity last year. Wife came home with some jewelry and clothes, I ended up with 16 and 19 year old scotches. We had quite a bit of OBC to use on that cruise, and only had excursions at the two ports that were canceled.

Yesterday they netted off the one large rectangular pool that had been open the previous day.  The only pools open were the small round circle pool by Sabatini’s and the square aft pool.  Plus the hot tubs.  At various times the closed pools have been drained or not.

A staff member told us that an officer told them that the bigger issue is a storm between Ensenada and San Pedro and by leaving early the captain can sail around that storm, avoiding some rougher seas and helping us get to San Pedro on time.

They sold out of Cointreau, which had been something we’d thought of getting if we had extra OBC.

We didn’t have any pictures taken due to Special Someone’s wardrobe malfunction since parts of his suit are in storage so he wasn’t up to his standards.

We looked around the shops and came up with a few ideas; we’ll let them marinate and see what happens.

they do have cameras for sale in the photo department where they sell the pictures...maybe do your Christmas shopping early?

A crew member messaged me that the Crown docked long enough early this morning to pick them up (change of shift).  It's pretty windy where I am.  My friend in Temecula (San Diego) said that there was thunder, heavy rain, and lightning alerts.  You should have some pretty awesome views on the way up.  So much excitement.

Now, photos of project runway please.

our last cruise we had to skip Puerto Vallarta & dock in San Diego instead to run ahead of Hurricane Orlene. We also were searching the ship to find ways to spend OBC...
