Kdmansfield Posted December 24, 2022 #1 Share Posted December 24, 2022 Anyone ever been on sailing where they enforced no drinks in the pools? On Ovation right now and the lifeguards have been turning folks away from pools with drinks, but allowing drinks in hot tubs. First cruise we've ever encountered this. soremekun Posted December 24, 2022 #2 Share Posted December 24, 2022 On Anthem ow and have seen people eating ice cream cones in the hot tub. Maybe utensil-free food only?
TwinMamainMN Posted December 24, 2022 #3 Share Posted December 24, 2022 We enjoyed plenty of cocktails and bottled water on Harmony (Sept.) and Odyssey (March) this year. All the drinks were served in plastic cups, so if there was an onboard shortage of plastic drinkware, maybe that's why they were restricting it on Ovation? Just a thought. Rare island lady Posted December 24, 2022 #4 Share Posted December 24, 2022 Bubba with his bucket of beer in the hot tub. Does not come out for breaks. 🤢
SilkySal Posted December 24, 2022 #5 Share Posted December 24, 2022 We've seen small kids turned away from the pool and/or hot tub when eating ice cream cones. Of course, I'd rather cruisers spill a drink or drop the ice cream vs something else!😲
jamin jul Posted December 26, 2022 #6 Share Posted December 26, 2022 I’ve been on spring break cruises where alcohol was not allowed in hot tubs but kids had ice cream cones in the hot tub🤔
