I'm looking at a cruise on Royal's website and only see a non refundable deposit option. $900/couple.

Are they not offering refundable up until final payment?

Yes, you need to go further in the booking process to see the refundable option.

You can always call and switch to a non refundable deposit closer to sail date if the price of the non refundable is less than what you booked at.  They will refund the difference or you can use it to upgrade to nicer room if the math works out.

That strategy my backfire on you.   Seems like all our cruise fares are increasing as the dates get closer to sail date.

 

Curious to know, How would you get a lower deposit?   The only way I know is to book onboard thru next cruise.

It's been over 5 years since Royal ran a lower deposit sale.  The only other way is to book on board.
