I've never lost my connection, but the longest cruise we've taken is 11 nights. DH, on the other hand, manages to lose his at least twice per cruise. That's why I make sure to have the printed file with us.

This is a good information but I have found that about once every day of so I do lose the internet connection and have to reconnect the laptop using this procedure.

I had a similar experience with my phone. If the internet went out, I was still connected to the intranet and Navigator. When the satellite signal came back, reconnection to that was not automatic. Sometimes it reconnected on its own, and sometimes I had to reset the internet connection.
