Nextholiday? Posted February 18, 2023 #1 Share Posted February 18, 2023 We have flown to Hawaii a few times but now looking at flying to Sydney for a cruise. We are lucky as have time before and after (finishing Hawaii) the cruise Just wondering how you fly to Sydney with a stop (cannot face straight through) Which route do you fly? Wondering whether to fly return to Hawaii then single flight to Sydney I genuinely have no idea 🤷♀️ 😂
CruiserBruce Posted February 18, 2023 #2 Share Posted February 18, 2023 I am not an expert on this, but this seems ripe for an "Around the World" ticket. There are a number of people here with experience...hopefully they chime in. The complexity is airlines and partners you might need.

Rare FlyerTalker Posted February 19, 2023 #4 Share Posted February 19, 2023 The other consideration is to look for airlines/cities that have free stopover programs, so you are not breaking the fare into two separate tickets rather than one through fare. Qatar and Emirates and Etihad come to mind for mid-east stopovers. Closer to Australia, look at Singapore and Cathay.
