Scorpio41 Posted March 4, 2023 #1 Share Posted March 4, 2023 Do you have a favourite deck, side, port / starboard, forward / aft? We are normally find ourselves choosing C deck, port, aft. No idea why we gravitate to there. On our next two cruises we’ve mixed it up, only slightly. B deck, port aft and then D deck, port, aft. what is your favourite and why? david05 Posted March 5, 2023 #2 Share Posted March 5, 2023 We also choose C deck, port, aft. Convenient for going both up and down to venues (we only use the stairs when on board but would not fancy walking up from E deck everyday to get to the Lido deck 😀) and handy to get out on the open deck at the back. No idea why we choose port over starboard but we do!
Rare Windsurfboy Posted March 5, 2023 #3 Share Posted March 5, 2023 Think A , B , C are all similiar. However when we booked , one was at 20% discount , one at 25% one at 30%. Not hard to guess, which one we choose.
Rare twotravellersLondon Posted March 5, 2023 #4 Share Posted March 5, 2023 Today... it would be S deck...now renamed as "Snow Deck!" Spectacular landscapes, sensational weather, great food and snow, snow, snow... just a great arctic experience.
JoJo1947 Posted March 6, 2023 #5 Share Posted March 6, 2023 We prefer central E deck (7).
FatBoy20 Posted March 7, 2023 #6 Share Posted March 7, 2023 Just booked Canaries for Nov 2024 & difference in Aft Cabin prices were £400 pp between D&E Decks (E Deck the cheapest).
JoJo1947 Posted March 7, 2023 #7 Share Posted March 7, 2023 Aft and bow are normally cheaper on E
Denarius Posted March 9, 2023 #8 Share Posted March 9, 2023 My preference would be for C Deck, becuse of its central position. 3 decks up to the Grill & Britannia Lounge, 3 or 4 decks down to the main and speciality restaurants and bars. But would settle for D deck as a close second. In the end it would come down to whether it was worth paying the additional fare to be one deck higher up in an identical cabin. Yesterday I received my 2024 call. Single cabins on C Deck were £360 more than those on D Deck. I chose the latter.
wowzz Posted March 28, 2023 #9 Share Posted March 28, 2023 Do the cabins on E deck experience much noise from the public areas immediately below them ?
