We're on the Millennium in July. Will there be shows that we need to pre-book? And, if so, when do those open up for reservations?

Why would you thing you would need to reserve a seat ?
Early show usually have a lot seating , later could get full

Cruisers who are used to traveling on Royal Caribbean often ask this question, because on that line you do need to pre-book reservations to see the shows

because I just booked shows on Royal Caribbean and it made me wonder if I'd need to for Celebrity. I'm new to both cruise lines.

There is sufficient seating in Celebrity theaters.  So no booking needed.

Even if you wanted to you can't make reservations. There's no Celebrity ship with any shows that you can make reservations for.

When I was on the Voyager of the Seas in September there was no booking of seats in the theatre

and why would you compare Royal to Celebrity?

Questions are not comparisons.
