If you book UDP, what happens to your traditional dining time?

I booked UDP, but I also had traditional dining set for early dining. What happens to that time? Will that stay in place in case I choose to go to the MDR one or two nights?

Yes. 

 

But if you are positive that you will never go to the MDR, switch to MTD so that they aren't holding places for you at an assigned table.
