JOY - GSC

I am looking at the excursions available on Great Stirrup Cay on my NCL Joy cruise that departs NYC on 8/20.

I read about all these different things to do on GSC, like stingray city or spa treatments.  I only see various cabanas, zip lines and wave runners.   Where are all the other activities?

Also - if you book something on the Island, do you still get the $50 excursion credit?

The amount of activities on the island is somewhat limited since it's not a full fledged port.  That said, more activities may show as the criuse gets closer.

I do remember doing a Stingray excursion from GSC back in 2019 before Covid.

Your cruise is late August-prime Hurricane Season.  The island could be missed on your cruise.

My experience cruising in August is that the seas are usually quite tranquil. Usually a lot of convective activity in the evening making for Mother Nature fireworks. It’s actually really cool.
