Prepurchased liquor in cabin

The liquor selection delivered to the cabin is limited on the website. I called to inquire and was told a bottle of Woodford Reserve and a 6 pack of Sierra Mist would be $206!

this included a $31 delivery fee. Wow!

Yes they really want people to just buy Cheers. You're not really coming out ahead by buying a bottle anymore. I mean you save a little bit, especially considering you're not tipping for each drink. But still not much.

I think that’s the motive too. Those prices are just insane. And honestly, I’d get tired of the same alcohol all week. I’d much rather get cheers and have someone else make my drinks.

Right? I was telling my husband the prices and he said “it’s going to make people want to smuggle booze on” I said uh that’s been happening for a long time!

We NEVER had prior to our last cruise. Was willing to play their game and pay $90 for a liter. $170 they can keep it and I'll keep my "Shampoo" in the fridge🤣

We used to always get a bottle when we sailed but now they no longer carry what we drink.  We also now sail out of Galveston rather thanNew Orleans, so the liquor is not delivered until noon onthe first sea day.  We get free drinks in the casino so I bring my big sippy cup and keep refilling it for later, but it’s such a bother to do that.

I had read that CCL had suspended in room sales during spring break to try and control over drinking, and it did disappear from the website all together.  But now it’s back but outrageous.  No thanks.

Paying for Cheers is worth it for us, I have no desire to run to the room every time I want a drink. Plus I like variety so sneaking or buying bottles just doesn't cut it for me
