Those photos are insane!  Love seeing them.

Photos of the steakhouse look good, too.

Totally OT but I know you have kids so I just wanted to share these photos. Just to recap we were on the Pride last May & June in Europe for 3 B2Bs. The first and Last cruises were Casino Elite cruises where we get lots of benefits and free stuff. My husband doesn't drink alcohol so on our last week we had too much complimentary bottles of wine from the casino so I decided to give them away. I had joined a Fb group for our cruises so I posted on our Fb group that I have wine to giveaway if anyone wants. A woman named Emma claimed a bottle, so when she came by to pick it up her son Kenny came along. He was such a personable young man, outgoing and polite. The next day this is what I found in my mailbox (Pictures below). It brought tears to my eyes. (BTW the photos of Kenny were from his moms Fb post)

We booked chef's table for the first night. I have seen a post somewhere about a new dedicated space being built to accommodate Chef's table on a regular basis. I think they were taking the space from the old steakhouse during renovations.  I am unable to verify this, so please do not take this as the final word on this topic.

Seems like the exterior & balconies are getting worked on, which is great.

I don't mean to jump the gun but does everyone see those stickers on the balcony door/window units up on deck #8 near the crane? Stickers routinely mean 'new' in any window unit. Could it possibly be that they've added slider doors to all the cabins replacing the old ones that open outward?  That would constitute a pretty serious cabin upgrade and not something that's ever been discussed.

I think I understand that JH is heading off to do 'walkies' aboard this week after he completes his family business.  I'm anxious to see the nearly completed project and for early reports and pics from the first passengers.

Looking forward to the UK/Iceland in about 3 months.

It also seems to show they're replacing the Balconies??? In any case it seems there's more being done than at first glance, which is plus in anyone's book.

Agreed. But let's not get too far ahead of ourselves just yet.

That would be amazing. It was one of my major criticisms of our Pride balcony Cabin; the balcony floor itself was disgustingly dirty and it was filth, grime, rust and other detritus that couldn't be just power washed away. It would have required major stripping down to bare metal. The photo seems to show them actually replacing the balcony decking.
