Hello. Does anyone know whether the Thermal Area on the MSC Poesia is unisex or are there separate areas for males and females?

You may get a better response by asking this question on the MSC board of CC.

Just back from the WC on the Poesia and we were regular patrons of the thermal area.  Outside of the newer (Breakaway class and later) NCL ships, we actually liked the Poesia's thermal area better than most other lines.

The thermals are co-ed--which we enjoyed as the spa is something DW and I enjoy sharing together.  There are two rather large steam rooms.  On the WC, it seemed that we almost always were in one of these by ourselves.  There are also two saunas.  One larger one that could comfortably have about 6 people and another smaller one which about 4 people could enjoy.  There is also a hot tub area with 3 hottubs with a view outside floor-to-ceiling windows.  There are no thalassic loungers, however there are some traditional loungers (maybe 4 if I remember right, didn't use them) that are in the same area.  There isn't a plunge pool or area to cool down between sauna and steam--which would have been nice.

But overall, we enjoyed the thermals.  Enjoy!

The termal area is co-ed, like explained above. There are male and female restrooms and dressing areas though. It is a quite small area on the Musica class where the Poesia belongs, and then quite basic, but nice enough for the purpose if that is your sort of thing. They also have a small bar at the entrance where you can find a quite nice healthy drinks menu.

Of course if you continue moving towards the aft you’ll  run into one of the pool bars which has less-than-healthy-but-more-enjoyable drinks. 😎
