SavageCruiser Posted May 18, 2023 #1 Share Posted May 18, 2023 I am not asking about the Luggage Valet service. We booked our hotel through RCCL for the Miami Airport Hotel. We had planned on dropping our luggage off and then going down to south beach for the day, then going back for 3pm checkin. However, I just found out that this airport hotel doesn't store luggage before checkin. Are there any other services That I can use?
Tulsacoker Posted May 18, 2023 #2 Share Posted May 18, 2023 (edited) I would aske here https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/386-florida-departures/ and by the way that's a crappy hotel that will not let you store your luggage for a a few hours. guess you could leave it on the luggage carrousel and come back to it 😄 Edited May 18, 2023 by Tulsacoker
Cigar King Posted May 18, 2023 #3 Share Posted May 18, 2023 I know it's a little out of your way, but you could drop the luggage off at the ship and then go to South Beach. We've done it as early as 9ish.
taglovestocruise Posted May 18, 2023 #4 Share Posted May 18, 2023 There is luggage storage in terminal E on the second level, this is the same place and level as your hotel. There is Bounce or Comunitel. If you are staying at the Miami International Hotel.

rockmom Posted May 18, 2023 #6 Share Posted May 18, 2023 (edited) Yikes, that hotel is like a prison from the 1960's. I've had the 'pleasure' of staying there twice. Airport 'view' window, and the lovely bath. Both rooms I had were identical. Weird smell too. Edited May 18, 2023 by rockmom

Very odd for a big city airport to not have a name brand hotel. Edited May 30, 2023 by KINGBOBOFTHENORTH

Hence the 'county jail' vibe, lol Edited May 30, 2023 by rockmom
Ashland Posted May 30, 2023 #9 Share Posted May 30, 2023 Any reason why you felt it was a good deal to book your hotel via RCI ? JMHO...book your own hotel.

It is a horrible hotel and I would not stay there again if it was for free. I would cancel and book elsewhere.
