margo2011 Posted May 18, 2023 #1 Share Posted May 18, 2023 Hello ,we’ve cruised with celebrity 4 times and will be again in July this year , but have never received an email offering us the option to bid for an upgrade .Is this due to us not having had enough cruises with them ? any information would be greatly appreciated thanks in anticipation . jelayne Posted May 18, 2023 #3 Share Posted May 18, 2023 If you don’t receive a email you can.go in to your booking on the website, go to Manage Reservation and scroll to the bottom or near bottom and you can often find a link -Upgrade you Experience or Stateroom. The upgrade window varies from anywhere between 30 days pre sailing to 6 weeks. However some TA do not participate in Move Up, so if you book through a 3rd party that doesn’t participate then you can’t bid. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If @jelayne's suggestion of managing booking doesn't work, email CelebrityMoveUp@celebrity.com as you have nothing to lose. Keep the email as short of possible, just say "please make booking # 123456 eligible for MoveUp"...FYI, they have replied to me that they can't do anything until I'm within 21 days of the sailing and (of course) they request I email them again once within 21 days Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You don't have to wait for an email, you can also initiate your own MoveUp through "Manage Reservation" as jelayne posted or you can go to this page on Celebrity's website: https://www.celebritycruises.com/bid-on-cruise-room-upgrade There are a nice set of FAQs at the bottom of the webpage.
