I thought for one of my primary Gibraltar pics it would be good to try to get a monkey with the ship in the back ground. I think this first one is the best.

I would say upper 60’s. we had some people in jackets. After the excursion we were up to 71.

Things have cleared up. We can see the runway here. It’s a short runway. The planes always land against the wind. Don’t think I ever want to fly a place where we have to count on wind to stop the plane.

To make things more interesting. There’s a road that goes through the runway. And there’s a stoplight whenever the planes are taking off/landing.

Then that’s the border with Spain just past the airport with the white covered area.

 

If you miss a ship on this cruise, do it in Malaga. It’s only a three hour bus ride here from there.

The airport thing reminds me of that movie Brewster’s Millions where the Hackensack Bulls have to stop their games because the train tracks go through the outfield. I wonder if that is/was real. @Jamman54 may know.

The World War II tunnels have been closed for about three weeks. Not sure why

They have enough facilities inside the tunnels to house 17,000 people for a year and a half.

These are the roads they have on the rock. This is old Gibraltar before they reclaimed the land below.

These used to be police barracks now they’re apartments.

Here we had an option of getting off of the bus..motor coach or staying on and going back to the port. Only three of us got off.
