Are cabins ready for occupancy upon embarkation?

Hello all,

Are cabins ready for you on RCI when you get onboard, or do you have to wait? Specifically Harmony if that makes a difference.

Cabins are ready immediately upon boarding, as long as you board after 1400

Normally the hallway doors to the cabins are closed until around 1 pm (sometimes later).  An announcement is usually made over the loudspeaker system to let you know when cabins are open.  Selected suites (Star Class) may have access to their suite upon arrival if the cabin has been cleaned.  Timing is everything.

I am on Harmony right now. As of 1:22 PM, cabins are not available. During check-in we were told cabins would be available at 2 PM.

Ours was on symphony may 14th at 1pm.

Our last sailing on the Jewel in March and rooms were not ready until 2pm…

Adventure in February not until 2:00 pm. Have a nice lunch and then explore the ship.

Just returned from 3 weeks on Harmony, the cabins were available between 1:30/2:00.  RCL did a great job getting the luggage quickly to your cabin and it was delivered to your cabin not in one area.
