Boarding in Vancouver

If you arrive before 11:00 am at the Canada Place, embarking passenger drop off and checked baggage drop off will be at level P2 of the parking garage underneath.  They do no accept checked baggage at Cruise Ship (CS) Level until 11:00 a.m.  Passenger check-in opens at 10:15 a.m. (maybe a little earlier), but USCBP officers don't begin their duty until 10:30 a.m.

There will be a long line of cars trying to enter and exit the Canada Place.  It's best to get dropped off at the street on Howe and walk down the ramp to CS Level yourself if you can manage.  Also best to take the elevator inside the Pan Pacific to P2 if arriving before 11:00 a.m. because the elevator at CS Level will have long lines.

Gosh, we boarded in Vancouver June 3rd and it went quickly!  We took a taxi and arrived around 10:30-10:45 or so.  We were in our rooms a little bit after 11:00    Traffic wasn't bad and check-in was quick and seamless.  We had 2 first time cruisers with us and they had no issues getting right in, also

Well, it will be interesting for sure. I'm staying at the Pan Pacific for my October cruise. I guess I will have to ask a few questions on how the process will work for embarkation the next morning. Then try to do some recon.  🙂

Does anyone know how the Princess transfers from the Westin Bayside work?  I'm hoping to just hand over my bags at the hotel and not have to see them again until they arrive in my cabin. Then if the weather's nice just walk over to Canada Place. Thanks
