I walked out of Magic to Do (focus on magic not music) and Sweet Soul which was just weird. Think: Motown done as Broadway. Proud Mary had no soul. Very stilted movement. Very polished soprano notes. Yeah weird.

We skip Blame it on the Boogie. It's very cheesy. Magic to Do, even though the flow is rather strange, we've seen Godspell, Pippin and Wicked multiple times, and love Stephen Schwartz. Rock Opera is very well done where the guest vocalists and cast dancers get to shine.

Oh I would have liked to see Wicked but it wasn't one of the 4 on my Emerald Princess cruise last month. I also like Secret Silk but it wasn't 1 of the 4 either. Just Rock Opera, Disco Blame it on the Boogie, Sweet Soul, and Magic to Do currently on the Emerald Princess

No, we didn't see Wicked on Princess but they have a couple songs from Wicked in Magic to Do. We've seen Wicked a couple times on Broadway and a few times when the National Tour comes to our city.

@startedwithamouse got it. There are so many things to see and do that unless something grabs me in the 1st 5 minutes, I give it 10 more wondering where I'd prefer to be. If there's a better option, I move on. Magic to Do failed to grab me, sweet Soul turned me off completely.  But that left 2 great shows IMHO and an available aisle seat for someone who was standing
