Edge gender specific sauna?

For those who have been on EDGE and experienced this: Are there gender specific saunas in the individual locker/changing rooms? So far it appears the only dry saunas are in the Thermal Suites area (along with other types).

Not on E class ships, only S and M class ships (dry sauna only in locker rooms).

On Edge Class, the infrared sauna "DESERT" is in the Thermal Suite only. I loved it on the Nordic itinerary last week, really made a difference. I often went twice a day (in AQ).

What people also need to know about infrared saunas is that unlike a traditional Swedish/Finnish sauna the room itself isn't going to be particularly hot. Just like an infrared heater made for the home you have to be sitting directly Infront of the heating element in order to feel the heat. So in the case of an infrared sauna you have to sit DIRECTLY with you back in front of one of the infrared heaters. This way the heat radiates all over your back and throughout your body.

Thanks! Now we need to decide if the day-use fee for the Thermal Suites is worth it. 😏

The spas on the E-class are really special and worth visiting.  It is worthwhile to go on a tour of the facilities and learn about the various rooms.

For the maximum effect, yes. Otherwise, there is also a bench in front of the window without infrared panels. I'm really not a big sauna type because it's usually too hot for me but the way they built the "DESERT" room is very comfortable.
