My daughter (6yo) took a sip of each drink, and immediately said “this is even better than the last one!”.  I was impressed that they did indeed have a curated non-alcoholic drink with each course.  I got to try each one and they were pretty well paired with the food progression.

Full disclosure - none of us were overwhelmed by the starting cocktails / mocktail at the waiting area, so it was easy for them to get better at that point!  😆

Same here. Photo opp, then dump.

so was this a pre-recorded Robo Call?  I NEVER answer any calls from unknown callers, they can leave a voice message, and I will call back.  And I NEVER answer yes to any question posed to me over the phone ( just a security quirk for me).  But congratulations on the dining experience.

It is not a recorded message live person. People in full suites are guaranteed others are filled out by some unknown method but csi I VIP members have a good shot as do reserve class mini suites

No.  It is from…Princess definitely,

Santa Clarita, CA and area code 661.

You can answer that one!

And they’re very clear about who they are and why they’re calling.  I don’t believe there’s any alternative to saying yes over the phone.  The rep on the phone finds out when you want to go, makes the reservation, and that’s it.  I presume at some point, if they can’t reach you, they move on to the next person on the list, to make sure the seatings are full.

Um, what is it?

There are a few other posts with more information, but here’s my summary : the 360 Experience is a specialty dinner which is by invite only, at no additional cost, to guests in a suite, casino guests, and possibly others at Princess’ discretion (for now).   It’s a dinner which focuses on cuisine from a specific region of the world (currently the Mediterranean, and southern France).  In addition to the 7 (?) course meal, with paired wine and cocktails, there are features to involve all of your other senses.  The circular wall is a wrap around monitor which shows a narrated journey of the food from farm to table (coinciding with the food/drink service).  Interactive displays are projected onto the circular table, so you can play with related images on your plate and table.  I believe they also pipe in scents at specific points of the story, but I could (easily) be confusing this with Soarin’ at Disneyland! 🤪

It was a wonderful experience for my whole family last time - pretty amazing that our impatient, perpetually bored daughter, didn’t utter a single “I’m bored!” For the entire 2 hour meal.  We’ll see what my 89 year old Mom thinks about it this weekend.

Thank you.  That makes it clear that as a first-time Princess cruiser in September, who bought the base package, I am the VERY LAST PERSON ON THE SHIP who would be invited to something like this. lol

We weren't allowed to have phones out, so we don't have any pictures.  But our kids were the same - they were amazed from start to finish, and were 100% present in the moment, as no one had phones out.

I would say that is a fair assessment.  😁

But if you blow… err… spend… risk(?) enough money at the casino, maybe you’ll get invited for a feee cruise, and then get invited?

They will probably turn it into a paid experience soon - similar to the Chefs Table Lumier dinner.  We’ve wanted to sign up for that, but it’s difficult with a 6 year old.  But the 360 would worth it for our whole family.

That’s what I thought too, but in March on the Enchanted, people had cameras and were taking videos.  Of course, mine was left in our cabin. Oh well.

Francisco, DRO/Maitre’d started 360 on Discovery and then moved to the Enchanted to introduce it.
Didn’t know yet when it would move to the Sky. Said it is extremely expensive.  There are some restaurants that do have this similar experience and one is in Lisbon.  I guess the birthplace of this program, from what I hear.

They really can’t put it on other ships without reconfiguring the restaurants. They built it inside of Sabatini’s when the built the Discovery

This is a real highlight of great experiences on board. Had the great pleasure of this dining journey on a recent voyage to Alaska.

The only caution I would make for parents and families. Know your children well and how they will react to a new food experience. We had two very upset teens who were so sour and complained till they were excused. It was a relief to all when they left the room. There were also two adorable little boys who loved the interaction and visuals, however cried at every course because all they wanted were chicken fingers, No fault of the children or for that matter the parents as they were ill informed of the culinary diverse journey we would be taken on.

If anyone is fortunate to get the invitation, do so, as I fear this will become a paid experience very shortly in the future,

Yes you need to be open to different types of food. There are little substitutions

However, when they call you they will ask if there are any allergies they need to be aware of and they will make substitutions in that case.  Also, once onboard, the host (in our case Rafa) tracked us down onboard the day before our experience and confirmed we would be attending and confirmed the allergy.  Assume he found us via our Medallions.   We were sitting in Good Spirits bar when he approached us.

That's interesting about no Phones.  I follow someone who is on YouTyube with a Travel channel & he posted a number of photos.

Not sure why it's interesting. There were not phones allowed when we went and before we went. Only a couple months after when it opened on the Enchanted the pictures were allowed.

It made it a better experience for us not to have someone taking pictures and being distracted.  Our entire room had a great time because we were all 100 percent present.

Our teens loved all the courses. Except for the last, which obviously they weren't allowed to have.

There was one couple that didn't touch their first course and by the third were trying to get different food. They left after that. Not children, they claimed to be picky eaters and wanted plain food.

Having done the 360 and 8 Chef's table..we enjoyed the fact we were 100% focused on the experience with no photos.

At the Chef's table lots of folks taking photos on their smart phones.
