Can you do online check on without a passport number?

My husband’s renewed passport should be here within the next couple of weeks, but our online check in is about to open. Can we do the online check in without it, or will we have to wait until we actually have the passport in hand?

You can start the check- in and select your boarding time and fill in the other info later.

You can begin the process and choose your arrival time for the cruise, and then come back later and put in the passport details.

We had that same scenario last year. I did my check in and chose a time and started his. When his passport arrived I was able to complete his check-in.

I know this is possible using the app.   I'm not sure if the web version of online checkin will allow it.  The web version used to do checkin time as the last step.

 

I always use the app to select my checkin time and scan my passport.   Then go to the web version to do the rest as I can upload my "stock" picture from there.
