StrikeEagle Posted August 25, 2023 #1 Share Posted August 25, 2023 Question for those who got the souvenir Alaska blanket from RCI cruise. Which cycle on your machine do you use to wash it, normal or gentle/delicate cycle? I look at the tag on the blanket it doesn't say how to wash it except wash below 30 c. reallyitsmema Posted August 25, 2023 #3 Share Posted August 25, 2023 Usually there are the laundry picture symbols on the tag. I would do cold water, gentle with Woolite and very low heat to dry. Whatever you do, do not use fabric softener as that wrecks fleece.

smokeybandit Posted August 27, 2023 #7 Share Posted August 27, 2023 It's a fleece blanket, so wash it how you'd normally wash fleece.
BND Posted August 28, 2023 #8 Share Posted August 28, 2023 (edited) Delicate cycles generally have very low spin levels so you end up with a very soggy blanket. Edited August 28, 2023 by BND

Here in Europe we have these things called “Wicker Baskets!” Basically you take the lid off and throw your clothes in (or close to it if you are a teenager!) wait around 48 hours and everything should appear clean, folded or pressed back in your drawers and closets. I’m a bit surprised they haven’t caught on over there? 🤷♂️
neverbeenhere Posted August 29, 2023 #11 Share Posted August 29, 2023 I used the towel to change the oil in my car, would that be wrong?
