Marseille to Aix-en-Provence

We will be on the Reflection TA in October.  One of our ports is Marseille and we would like to go to Aix from there. It looks like Ubers are available in Marseille, but we can't find any information about the availability of Ubers in Aix to get back to the ship. Does anyone have any knowledge about this?  Perhaps someone has other suggestions for getting to and from Marseille and Aix.  Thank. you.

We've done this twice. Once was through the ship's Aix In Provence on your own tour, the 2nd time was hiring a private car service who will drop you off at an assigned place and meet you there at a predetermined time. Depending on time at Port and desire on a private tour you can add the lovely little seaside town of Cassis.

a nice tour is rec..or as mentioned pvt car svc. We found Marseille uninteresting and a bit scary.

I would book a ship's tour, a private tour or arrange private transportation both ways, in advance.

 

I'd hate to be in Aix and find that no drivers wanted to make the trip to Marseilles.

I probably should have said seedy..but we did not linger after our tour!

We did the ships “on your own” transportation tour. There might be cheaper options, but I never found a suitable schedule that would guarantee a return to the ship on time. We had a lovely  fall day exploring several street markets and just wandering, absorbing the feel of the area.
