phoebe2m Posted September 18, 2023 #2 Share Posted September 18, 2023 I don't know about Alaska but when we missed Maui earlier this year we got $3 each.

They are all different port fees, unless someone just had the same port cancelled, you won’t know exactly. Not very much money for most ports. Did they replace it with another port? They will put the credit on your folio.
skynight Posted September 18, 2023 #4 Share Posted September 18, 2023 (edited) It varies by port. Maybe $5 to $10. Edited September 18, 2023 by skynight

Rare BamaVol Posted September 18, 2023 #6 Share Posted September 18, 2023 We have twice now gotten a port fees credit without dropping or replacing a port. It was $18-25 pp each time. I have no idea what the reason was, but I spent it like any other OBC.

I've received credits like this on both Princess and Carnival cruises (not all). It's a refund of port fees they didn't have to pay.

I would have thought port fees were relatively fixed. I have no clue how the port or cruise line calculates them. mtnesterz Posted September 19, 2023 #10 Share Posted September 19, 2023 You can make a rough estimate. Take your total amount in port charges, divide by the number of ports. There will be a foreign port charges in there somewhere too, usually Canada, possibly Japan.
