So,,, you're talking to a minimum wage call center person who has zero understanding of the policies behind their reservation system. Yes, tables are held for onboard booking. No, table are not held "just in case someone wants to walk in".

That's what I meant.

The problem is, I misread your post.

May I blame the late hour?

It absolutely is absurd to leave tables empty just in case someone should wander in - that table could remain empty all evening. Of course, if you find availability as a walk in, that means that up until that moment, no one else wanted it anyway, not that they refused to reserve it.

Y’all enjoy your cruise how you want and book what the restaurants you want. I’ll enjoy my freestyle cruise and walk in and get those “no show” tables, every time
