Check in photos

We have checked in on our computer for our October 25th cruise.  I didn't see anywhere to download a photo so I asked in my group and they said you can do it on the app.  I did see a blank circle on the app and assumed it was for a photo but when I pressed it nothing happened.  

 

Is there a special place for a photo or should I just wait to be photoed on embarkation?

I did it for my two short cruises in August, but it wasn’t an option when I checked in for my December cruise.  But it seemed as if there was less to fill in, it was already filled it, so maybe they saved a picture.  EM

It doesn't seem to make a difference anyway. I have uploaded a photo for all three of my MSC cruises so far and all three took a new picture of me at check-in anyway.

 In jest I have to smile and ask "was your hair the same color as in the photo?"  😉

Nope. My hair was green in the photo, but my husband looked exactly the same as his photo and they still made him retake it.

They always take a photo at the terminal no matter what. I don't even bother doing online anymore.

The circle shows how much you have done already. Did you enter your passport details already? This is step 1. Followed by credit card details and the photo. 

 

I did everything, but could only take the photo for myself. Still after a few days all boarding passes showed up. So the others have their photos taken at check in.
