How long does it take for MOBC to show up? My SOBC showed up within days but the MOBC hasn't and it has been about 2 weeks.

Since I have first submitted my DD-214 my Military OBC is always immediately on any of my cruises.  SHOBC I must submit and it posts with a day or two.

Cheers

On what ships was that? Recently?

I've heard that MTP lunch becomes a cocktail party on very short cruises. We were recently (June 2023) on a B2B (two seven day cruises) on the Caribbean Princess and attended both MTP luncheons.

We have always gotten it on our past cruises, but it isn't showing up on any of the ones I booked recently. I did go to the Princess site and complete the form again.

I've also heard that they eliminated the luncheon or cocktail party altogether on those short cruises.

Yes, we got gifted credit for the Crown grill or Sabatinas, I think it understandble as the officers aren't available on very short cruises. (this was a 4 day)

That sounds OK by me. It's better than a lunch or party any day.

Not sure what is up with that.  Keep pounding away it would seem.  We are military anyways so they won't know what hit em.  😉

Because of the original policy of not allowing MOBC and SOBC, I moved CCL shares to my DW.  Upside of this is that now the SOBC shows up on her account and we are better able to pre-order excursions or other charges before we board since she now has a credit.  Before I either had to wait until on the ship or pay for her charges when reserved before boarding. In the end of course it all goes on the same folio.

Well, here's something which others might not think of.  I still had not received my DH Military benefit after completing all the requirements and sending an email twice. I asked my DH to logon to his account to see if he could see it there.  That is when we found an error--somehow his PP number was wrong in his account but correct in mine.  It took 2 more phone calls and his account is now merged with mine. They were not able to give him his own account, but that is ok with us. We received the MOBC the next day!
