Clothing steamers?

I know irons are prohibited. I did not see steamers are the prohibited items list  Does anyone know?

Anything that generates heat or is a fire hazard (which would include a steamer) is prohibited.  The only exception is curling irons and hair dryers.

Yes steamers are prohibited.  
We either use Wrinkle Release, run hot shower and let clothes steam, send items out for pressing or wear with wrinkles as nobody pays any attention.

Items with Heating Elements or Open Flames

Certain items that generate heat or produce an open flame are not permitted onboard. This includes clothing irons, hotplates, candles, incense, and any other item that may create a fire hazard. Curling irons and hair dryers are allowed.

Your steamer will not be allowed.

I have seen steamers on display on tables for pickup at the end of the cruise.  Quite an assortment of items for pick-up.  Swords, knives, toasters, irons, handcuffs, etc.
