Free at Sea Plus opinion please

I booked a solo cabin on the Bliss. I am trying to decide if the Free At Sea Plus upgrade would be worth it. I don’t drink that much and when I do I couldn’t tell well from top shelf or whatever it’s called.  But I absolutely would like the Wi-Fi streaming upgrade package. Another specialty meal sounds OK. But what would really make it worthwhile is if I could get the extra $50 for “the second guest” excursion (I presume this means all NCL excursions booked). I asked my casino rep and she said “I couldn’t tell you one way or the other” ( I thought reps were supposed to get the answers for you). So I would appreciate opinions from others who have upgraded to the Free at Sea Plus and if per chance you were solo did you get the extra $50 off per excursion. Thanks!

Since you are traveling solo, you would not have a "2nd guest" to receive the $50 shore excursion credit from FAS Plus!

With the regular Free at Sea you would receive $50 off each excursion you take.  For example, if you were to book an excursion that takes place in the morning, you could potentially book another excursion, for the same port, IF there is at least one hour+ between them.  Excursions (such as the Sky Lift in St Thomas) that are not time specific, can be booked along with other excursions and each excursion receives $50 credit.

Hopefully this helped answer your question.

The reason the agents can’t advise if it’s worth it as this down to personal preference. If you’re not a huge drinker, I’d cost up the wifi and dinners to see what comes out better. If you’re not a big drinker then look at what’s included and if not check the prices for the drinks you like as you’ll have up $15 covered. Anything over you’ll pay the additional plus 20%.

is it possible for only 1 person in the cabin (me)  to upgrade drinks to premium plus, and my wife add starbucks package?

Unfortunately, no.  If one person upgrades the drink package, all adults in the cabin has to upgrade

bummer, i was afraid of that. so does that mean we would both have to buy the Starbucks package as well?

as you asking for starbucks instead of the premium drink package?  If so, then as @ggTexasGalpointed out, you'd both need to get the Starbucks package.  But if you do upgrade the drink package, you wouldn't need to get the Starbucks package because starbucks in included int he upgraded drink package
