Dinner reservations for Beyond

I have read conflicting statements about MDR on E class ships. Some say you an make reservations on line, but the times will not be honored on board as all  seating is simply walk in at whatever time you chose and will be seated as available. Others insist they made prior reservations and those were honored. In case that is true, I was going to make dinner reservations for my Beyond cruises in Apr. and May. I see NO options  to make any reservations at all under "manage my reservation". How the heck do you make reservations, please?

It's under dining at the bottom of the page. Just like specialty dining, you'll select the MDR of choice then select a time and add to cart.

Yes you pick times but they have not been honoring them once you are on board.

 

it’s just like how it appears that you can make reservations for Blu and Luminae.  Both are open seating and the reservations you make are only illusions.

I've had the same experience as you, once on board. Reservations weren't honored.

I'm glad to know this ahead of time. I just booked our first Celebrity cruise yesterday and the rep told me he would put me on the waitlist for Anytime dining and made me chose either late or early dining.

The Beyond did not honor reservations.  Just show up when you want to dine and you will be seated.  This was true for all 4 MDRs

If you are on an M or S class ship, that’s the procedure. It’s the E class ships which do not have the correct information on the website or app.
