Are knitting supplies such as knitting needles, darning needles, yarn, and thread snips allowed on Royal Caribbean ships?

My wife has carried her knitting on board a couple of times. The interesting thing is she has passed through TSA and flown with those. I guess an eight inch knitting needle is no threat.

Absolutely.   The problem might be the airlines.  My little crayola scissors, round point used to be a problem.  Packed them and carried on a small nail clippers to cut thread when traveling with a needlepoint project.  My knitting was never a problem!

Have run into an issue with needles flying in Europe but not in the US.  But I also put my project on less expensive needles in the event I ever run in to a TSA agent who decides they are not okay.

My daughter had her scissors taken on our last cruise (she brought her crocheting supplies).  So, I would recommend some small scissors (think school size).

Yes, but my crayola round tip scissors were a problem on a flight once.  That's why I pack those but carryon on a small nail clipper.  No point, cuts yarn.
