the specials at breakfast were the blueberry pancakes and smoked salmon scramble. I forgot to take a photo.

I think we might try the buffet for breakfast tomorrow.

today we are in port Chalmers. I don't think we will get off as the fog is really low and its drizzling.

we called by the future cruise desk this morning and asked what he thought our chances were of getting on the 6 night cruise. he said we are 14th on the wait list so not much chance..

will look at things to do in Melbourne for 6 nights. I usually only stay there that long when I go for the f1 and mum for the tennis.

they described it as custard flan with condensed milk. it was like a cross between a baked custard and a cheesecake

2) Is there any stand alone photo package offered onboard? 

3) If I don't have a drink package where can I refill drinking water? Is there any bottle water package offered onboard?

you can get free tap water with ice in any bar or restaurant. 

you can fill your own bottles in the buffet.  tap water in your room is good to drink.

you can buy water in bulk. prices on medallion,  which I don't know how to work

Thank you very much. My Medallion didn't show up bulk water as an option. It only shows "classic soda" and "zero alcohol drink" package. I couldn't see any bulk bottled water package.

we went to the vocalist last night. she was excellent, she was on this same cruise last year. her name is rietta austin

the band are great this cruise. called radio sunshine. we got up and danced to few songs last night.

I forgot to  mention there were 3 rooms with tables outside on our floor this morning.

no idea if its noro or covid. I have heard nothing.

there's a man sitting behind me in the dining room talking loudly into his phone (that in itself is irritating,  but the conversation is interesting ) 

he's telling his relatives that his wife has caught covid and has to stay in the room for 3 days. he has been asked to wear a mask while walking around.

I will  give him a wide berth on my way out

Our Christmas brunch was pretty easy, and inspired by the Princess suite breakfast which is eggs benny, but on a bed of roasted chunks of potato. You could try and wrangle this dish at breakfast one morning.
