cruisingsfun Posted December 22, 2023 #2 Share Posted December 22, 2023 I got so excited about these new cruises. I booked the Quebec intensive cruise for September 13, 2025. Don’t think I’ve ever made a cruise decision that fast! 1

jcruizer Posted January 12 #4 Share Posted January 12 We had booked the Grand voyage which was 3 b2bs that was cancelled for more Canada cruises. Sad… Just wish they would show the cruise after the Canadian/Colonial cruise… Nov’25. Patience I guess…

Rare mare s. Posted January 18 #6 Share Posted January 18 couldn't resist and just booked Canada/New England intensive for September 2025! A long wait, for sure, but we've booked far in advance on other cruises.

NeilWM Posted January 19 #9 Share Posted January 19 This sounds great and we would love to cruise this area, Just a quick question from downunder, aren’t there hurricanes possible at this time of year?
Mercruiser Posted January 19 #10 Share Posted January 19 Hurricanes are a definite yes for Florida and the Caribbean. In contrast, hurricanes are rarely make it to NYC and points north. So id say it's possible but unlikely. Hurricane Sandy was the exception. Its rainfall caused a lot of flooding in NYC

Yes...for sure. Once our ship hid in St. John while a hurricane passed over Halifax. A second time we stayed an extra day in Quebec to let a hurricane pass over a later port where we were due to visit. Part of the experience. A couple Canadian ports were canceled with others substituted and the itinerary generally changed around to accommodate the clean up. And our final cruise in Oct the year cruising shut down was a Canadian cruise w/similar port changes due to a hurricane. NeilWM Posted January 20 #13 Share Posted January 20 Thanks for the advice. I am normally tempted to take a chance with weather but doing my homework because we would be travelling a long way to board 😎
