Good to know.  I saw an episode of Mighty Cruise Ships, in which Captain Carl Gunnar Hammerin was Captain of the Joy.

I saw a posting after I wrote this one to say that Gunner had retired.

There have been a couple other Father and son(s) working for NCL.  At one time, Lars Bengtsson and all three of his sons were with NCL.  Captain Zeljko Jurac has a son currently a Bridge Officer on The Breakaway.

I suggest you ask no more than 6 weeks before you are going to travel as all will change before November!!

Hopefully by this point in November all of the crew members for The Aqua will haven selected.  Usually means a number of staff shifts throughout the system will occur.  Hard to say what staff member will be assigned where by mid November.

Does anyone have any information on the norwegian sun staff and crew I'm trying to find someone specific to say bye to and stuff like that cause they were awesome but I only remember first names and it be easier with last names or something that I can let them know without going to guest services or anything anyways their first names ar Gioia, Marvin, and Bethan they were on the norwegian sun for the cruise of 5/1/24-5/10/24 I contacted the cruise director jc sanchez but he had went on vacation so he doesn't have contact with them rn
