Will Fernando be the cruise director for the entire Serenity world cruise or just for a few segments?

Fernando will be on-board for the entire World Cruise as Crystal's World Cruise Ambassador.  On top of this there will be Cruise Director on board each segment of the World Cruise. A

I've never met Fernando, but I had understood that his job was to schmooze the passengers. The Cruise Director actually has things to do behind the scenes, paper work, scheduling, etc. Why do you think there would be a conflict there?

IMO:

 

Mix one cruise director who enjoys being the center of attention with one "ambassador" who has a history of being the center of attention.

 

Is the ship big enough for both?

Fernando was the most amazing cruise director I have ever sailed with (and i sailed with him many times) in my close to 100 cruises.  I asked him once how he does what he does, every single day.  His answer was “Good drugs”.  He use to give language lessons on days at sea and on one cruise with a lot of sea days we were treated to lessons in five different languages.  Two more sea days and we could have had two more lessons.

 

People adore Fernando and yes he adores them back,
