Anyone else get an email regarding the change in departure time, and boarding time changed to start at 3PM?

Perhaps a late arrival or a deep clean or maybe both.

Currently on the Royal now. Our cruise started with delayed boarding (was stated for 2pm but started at 1:30)  due to noro on the cruise prior. But our cruise has been all smooth sailing, no notice of any illness going around, if anything since we have gotten on they have relaxed the alert level. There is also still another cruise between this one and yours. Could be deep cleaning under an abundance of caution but we didn't find out about our delay until the day before departure.

Royal takes on new passengers in Auckland on many of her NZ loops. Is Auckland a current gastro hotspot that would be seen as an elevated risk?

I got on in Auckland on Friday. It's not deep cleaning that's causing the delay in Sydney tomorrow it's enhanced immigration.
