What shower products are provided? (Ruby Princess)

Like it or not, those products pictured above have a eucalyptus scent. We don't and bring our own.

Used to be Elites and Suites got upgraded products, not since Covid.

You can ask your steward for things like a shower cap.

I don't have a full list of what they can provide.

The shop inboard sells needed items, but prices are a joke. Bring your own.

If you are a woman the shampoo/conditioner is awful!  I had cotton candy - fly away hair for 10 days on our Christmas cruise.😡

I have short hair and it was uncontrollable even with my own mousse and hair spray.

Do yourself a favour and take your own shower and hair products.  The ones in your cabin are, IMHO, awful.  If you have only large containers, get some small refill bottles at the Dollar Store and some labels.  I then put them in ziplock bags to pack.  I also take a small soap bar of Beekman 1802 unscented for DH.

I found a dry bar that you rub on your hair in the shower as a creme rinse product. It works for my hair and I put it in the box to pack it and bring it back home. All ships seem to be doing the all in one hair product. Does not work for me.

Not all do.

They are refilled from large gallon bottles.

YMMV on what scent, if any, you receive.

Thank you for this question. As soon as someone said generic labeled, it wasn’t good. If it was a trusted brand they would be bragging about providing it. Hair care is now on my packing list.

I had not seen the new colors or scents. Last cruise was October. Good news. Thanks!

It’s still really awful stuff.  Cheap Dollar Store equivalent at best.  Take what you use at home in smaller quantities.

We learned very quickly that we did NOT care for the provided products. The scent and quality, or lack thereof, is horrid.

We bring our own as others have stated, just purchasing the small containers and putting them in your ziplocs. There are also many good shampoo soap bars. I get mine from a friend who makes her own soap.
