mhlcanada Posted February 17 #1 Share Posted February 17 We are thinking of purchasing the Cheers drink package. I read that taxes will be charged when ship is in US. Does this mean if you order a drink when the ship is docked in US (e.g, prior to sailing, and docked in a US port such as Catalina Island), you will be charged taxes on the drink? Purvis1231 Posted February 17 #6 Share Posted February 17 It will only cost a buck or two- so don't sweat it.
VentureMan_2000 Posted February 17 #7 Share Posted February 17 You will be charged sales tax on any cocktail purchased. Whether you purchase CHEERS or not does not affect whether you will be charged sales tax. Sales Tax rate for Long Beach is 10.25%. Sales Tax rate for Catalina Island is 10%.
