Choose Different GTY Cabin

Just booked Interior GTY Vision of the Seas for March 2025. First time for a GTY and am surprised I already have a cabin assignment. I’m OK with the assignment, but curious if/how I can ask for a different assignment if we change our mind. I did find some older topics on this, but nothing recently - I certainly could have overlooked them. Thanks.

My TA can move me to another if it's the exact same category. Says he doesnt even have to call, just can do it himself online.

I had this issue just this month. I booked directly with RCL about two months prior to sailing and paid in full at the time of booking. About two weeks before sailing I saw a balcony cabin I preferred and they do not allow changes. It doesn't hurt to ask. I think your TA can do it because you're so far out and the fare is the same so it's more of a cancel and rebook.

No, it's not a "cancel and rebook". That's a word you don't want to use. Always keep the same booking number.

Call again and don't mention it was a GTY booking.
