The International Brunch was served on both sea days on our cruise. Remember that if you are Aurea, there is a special priority entrance for you.

The cooking competition Master Chef has been spun off in over 60 countries. Potentially win the opportunity to participate in a live audition for one of those shows by winning the Master Chef at Sea mystery box challenge. Today’s 6 competitors came from 5 different countries.

They give everyone in the audience a paper with multiple choice food trivia questions.  The highest scorers papers are collected and random draw to get 6 contestants.  Those 6 compete as pairs to make different dishes (easy…like decorating a cake).  The judges are three MSC staff.  It was a lot of fun if you like cooking shows.

As the sun rises over Ocean Cay, the Captain decides the winds are too strong to dock. Reported 33 kn winds. So it is another sea day for us. The crew is busily setting up more loungers and preparing to serve the beach food at the buffet.

The Marina Pool is the hub of ship’s life with a large video wall playing the game. The pool is built for hanging out with a cool drink and enjoying the sun. twin hours provide views over the edge of the ship.

Venchi’s hand makes some of their chocolates onboard. And large chocolate sculptures for ship’s events. They employ 5 chocolatiers - 2 candy makers, 2 gelato makers, and 1 pastry chef.
