Yep. Our last Mediterranean cruise; after wearing a suit to the first 5 formal nights.. I duly presented in the MDR in shorts and Polo-shirt for the 6th like so many others I had observed. I enjoyed the food as much as the first 5. I did feel a bit self-conscious.. but that was all in my head. Once I got over myself and realised that nobody cared what I was wearing.. I was fine lol 🙂

Many of them do. There's usually on average about 2 a week. It was a 21-night cruise in the Mediterranean.

A true 21-night cruise has 4 formal nights. However, most 21-night cruises in the Mediterranean or the Carribean are also sold as three 7-night cruises. In this case, each 7-night cruise has 2 formal nights, so the combined 21-night cruise has 6 formal nights.

That actually makes sense most of my med cruises include TransAtlantic crossings so only 3 plus 2 on the med cruise
