If you have the Wi-Fi package, is it easy to find people on the ship that you came with?

You don't need Internet to access the "find my shipmate" function of the app 

You can use the app with ships intranet. 

 

If you all have WiFi Internet access, you can message each other via Whatsapp, FB Messenger, whatever.

And use the Find My Shipmate via app, or boards around the ship.. 

Very easy with WiFi Internet, same as on land.   Make a group bus Whatsapp or FB messenger or whatever texting app and you can reach everyone in your group with one text.

My travel group all have ATT and we just text each other   If you are going to use the location finder you need to make each person part of your shipmates grouping. It is a really nice feature

The location finder on the app is really great.  Link everyone together and you can see where they are.  More than about 5 or 6 gets confusing.
