hawkinsh Posted April 8 #1 Share Posted April 8 My wife and I will celebrate our 25 wedding anniversary in July on the Celebration. We will have our 3 teenage kids and few other family members with us. What are your ideas on special ways to celebrate without breaking the bank. Our actual date will be the 2nd formal night on the ship. I have a couples massage book already. Any ideas would be helpful. Our only other time on a Carnival ship was on the Triumph MANY years ago.
bled01 Posted April 8 #2 Share Posted April 8 I also have my 25th anniversary this summer. What I am doing is leaving the kids at home. 😆
Rare ninjacat123 Posted April 8 #3 Share Posted April 8 Make sure your waitstaff and Maître D know that you are celebrating your special anniversary. We were presented with a small heart shaped cake with "Happy Anniversary" on it. If you used a PVP or a TA make sure they know in case they can add something to your cruise (chocolate covered strawberries, cookies, bottle of sparkling wine). You could order through your Cruise Manager, Happy Anniversary room decorations and a cake already set up in your stateroom when you embark. Look under Gifts and Stateroom Décor. If you like sparkling wine, bring a bottle per legal adult at embarkation. You can't bring fresh flowers on board but you can order a bouquet for your room. I really love my Carnival Spa robe that I bought and brought home (get a fresh one wrapped in plastic) nice souvenir and romantic. My DH and I had a short Dreams photo session and those 3 black and white pics are framed and hung above our bed. If I think of more stuff, I'll post it. Happy anniversary😍
pe4all Posted April 8 #4 Share Posted April 8 I went to the dollar store and bought "Happy 40th Anniversary" signs and decorations and decorated the cabin when dh went out "on an errand" for me - lol. You can have your kids do it since they are coming while you take your wife somewhere else on the ship. Get decorations for the cabin door also. Or you order decorations from Carnival and the cabin will be decorated when you get there - but they have really upped their price.
jemrtt Posted April 8 #5 Share Posted April 8 (edited) Congratulations! What about a surprise scavenger hunt throughout your cabin to find a thoughtful gift? Doesn’t have to be super long or complicated. I enjoy the scavenger hunts that DH has set up for me over the years since our 1st anniversary. Sometimes the gift 🎁 is just as simple as face sheet masks and peppermint shower steamers, which I LOVE! Sometimes it’s a bag full of my favorite skeins of yarn. And sometimes the gift is a CRUISE! 🛳️ 🥰 If your spouse will not enjoy the hunt, then feel free to skip this post right on by.😂 I’m positive others will post great ideas you can utilize. Happy Anniversary! Edited April 8 by jemrtt Spelling
Rare lazydayz Posted April 8 #6 Share Posted April 8 You could take the group to Emeril's for an anniversary dinner. It is amazingly good and inexpensive. It is much less crowded than the MDR, and the atmosphere is fun.

Leave the kids at home with the grandparents and you will save a lot right there. Then you can use what you would have spent on the kids to splurge on yourselves instead. z_cruisers Posted April 9 #8 Share Posted April 9 How about bringing a wedding photo and displaying in your cabin? Also if you have champagne flutes from wedding you could bring those for your anniversary Cheers! Happy 25th! It's ours this year as well!
