Weezor Posted April 28 #28 Share Posted April 28 This is great. We are booked for next Easter and can't wait. We were to be sailing on her inaugural cruise to the Mediterranean in 2020, but of course, covid had other plans. We've sailed Princess cruises before and we will be on the Sun in November, but Enchanted Princess was to be our trip of a lifetime and just happy to finally make it happen. Enjoy this cruise and if you stop in Take 5 for a jazz night, please take a pic as that is my husband's favorite. TIA and happy cruising!

Rare 2 to Sea Posted April 28 Author #30 Share Posted April 28 For last evenings entertainment, we were able to sample a few areas. Celtic Wave was a lot of fun to watch. I highly recommend seeing them in O’Malley’s Irish Pub if they are on your cruise. The vibe was perfect. Then over to the Piazza for live music with Pinnacle. We ended the evening at Princess Karaoke. Some okay singing, and one amazing performance. That was fun to watch.
kywildcatfanone Posted April 28 #31 Share Posted April 28 Looking forward to your experience. We were on 3 weeks ago and board again when you get off.
Retired-N-Happy Posted April 28 #32 Share Posted April 28 Good Spirits at Sea has a special craft cocktail menu that is available from 530 - closing. We enjoyed it on our 14 days on the Discovery in 2022 and again for our 14 days on the Majestic in 2023. Looking forward to our 14 day repo cruise on the Enchanted in August from Ft. Lauderdale to Brooklyn. Hopefully Duval will still be CD. He was fantastic on our Discovery cruise.

Rare 2 to Sea Posted April 29 Author #36 Share Posted April 29 Today was at sea. We skipped breakfast and went for a walk on the jogging track. There was pickle ball and a putting tournament while we were there. Noted there are 10 hot tubs on this ship! One is in the sanctuary. Two at the adult only pool area. Four on deck 17, the deck above the pool. And three at pool level. I’m not counting the enclave. There are four pools. We went to lunch at Gigis. The host told us the best time to grab a seat and not wait was around 11:30am. We got there shortly after and scored a window seat right away. Within a half hour the place was packed. Afternoon was spent around the pool. Tried several drinks. My favorite was the Bahama Mama and Dirty Banana. Dave’s was a margarita on the rocks and the Pina Colada. They put little bits of coconut on the rim. Also grabbed a couple of menus.

My family and I were supposed to be on this sailing but much to our dismay, a health issue came up and we had to cancel. Hope to do the Enchanted later this year or early next. I’m so sorry! Hopefully all will be well soon and you will get on this beautiful ship.

Rare 2 to Sea Posted April 29 Author #41 Share Posted April 29 We finished the night with Rock Opera which had a lot of songs we knew. Very entertaining. Then took a stroll around the top decks. It is currently 81 degrees at 10:54pm. No one was in the wake pool around 9:30. Late evening snack included chips and guacamole and veggies and hummus/pita bread. This seems to be available all day today. clocks go back one hour tonight, so an extra hour of sleep!
nhkroozer Posted April 29 #42 Share Posted April 29 Enjoy this cruise, you'll have a lot of pool and beach time...very relaxing. We just got off her on the 20th after doing the same itinerary of which we really enjoyed. The second formal night was Thursday after Costa Maya. We appreciate your taking all of us along.
Retired-N-Happy Posted April 29 #43 Share Posted April 29 Could you find out please if any of the bars or MDR are currently stocking Coke Zero or Sprite Zero? It's our main non alcoholic choice of beverage consumed for lunch and dinner. Was able to get Coke Zero all of the time and Sprite Zero only sporadically on our 2022 Discovery and 2023 Majestic cruises. Thanks

We brought on our own. We are on next week as well, and bringing our own. I do not understand why they don't stock both of those in the US ports.
Rare 2 to Sea Posted April 29 Author #46 Share Posted April 29 Good morning from Cozumel! Today we booked a private cabana at The Cabana Beach. Pricing was less than an excursion, includes snorkel gear, but no food. This is located right next to Chankanaab Beach Adventure Park, which is also included. We will grab a taxi from the port area. I will let you all know how it was.

We had it on the Discovery based out of LA doing Mexican Riviera and California Coastal in 2022. We had it again on the Majestic out of Vancouver to Alaska in 2023. I could see them possibly having supply problems in Europe, but certainly not Ft. Lauderdale. Have cruised within the past year out of FLA on both Celebrity and RCI and had no problems getting both sodas. On Carnival we were able to get Pepsi and Starry Zero. Rare 2 to Sea Posted April 29 Author #48 Share Posted April 29 We are off the ship! For those that worry about packing a towel, don’t! Princess supplies towels as you get off the ship. Beautiful day today. We could see fish right off the dock. First stop will be a local coffee and breakfast.
Rare 2 to Sea Posted April 29 Author #49 Share Posted April 29 It took about 20 minutes to walk to COZ Coffee and it was worth it. We love to get out and see a little away from the port and support a local business. The fruit bowl was full of fresh fruit, including kiwi, pineapple, papaya, apples, blueberries, and cantaloupe. The avocado toast had a mountain of avocado on it. I enjoyed a peanut butter latte and Dave had an oat milk latte. All for about $20. I would go back again!
Rare 2 to Sea Posted April 29 Author #50 Share Posted April 29 The Cabana Beach was beautiful and peaceful. This isn’t a party spot, but a private beach area. Each cabana holds up to 6 people if I remember correctly. You can book directly through their website and select which one you want. They had some great vegetarian and vegan selections. Drinks were good. Snorkeling was also fun, with easy access into the water via stairs, and a roped off large area (so boats didn’t cross into our area). Life vests were available for those that want it. I would go again.
