We've been to ports in the 3rd choice and liked them.  The other 2 seem to have more sailing time.  But your decision.  Which date works best?

Any date...
I keep saying either itinerary with the sounds.
She is a travel photographer. The views are incredible! She keeps doubting me.

I'm going to stick my neck out and say the first one. Purely because it goes to Dunedin, where (hopefully) one of the excursions will be the Traieri Gorge train, which picks up from right beside the ship and takes you up into the hills/mountains. Being a bit of a train nut, that would swing it for me. The scenery is excellent too and hopefully a bagpipe band will play you out of Dunedin at sailaway.

We had skipped Wellington because of weather and headed south to Christchurch, then they said it was too bad to go round the bottom so we also skipped Dunedin and headed back up to Wellington. So the answer is yes and no!

If prices are about the same...I'd go with the extra night.

* Currently onboard Ovation...been on her since NZ...Picton was cancelled due to weather.

Arriving in Vancouver today at 2pm. Late arrival due to a medical emergency and timing of low tide.
