RCCL Fort Lauderdale cruise port address + ride questions

Hello!  I would like to get the address of Royal Caribbean's Fort Lauderdale cruise port.  I'm getting conflicting information online (is it Port Everglades)?  We are planning to hail a ride via Uber/Lyft on disembarkation day from the cruise port to FLL airport.  Is this an easy mode of transportation to the airport vs a shuttle?  TIA!

Yes...Port Everglades. You can either use Uber/Lyft or they'll be many taxis in the line up ready to go. For a taxi just make sure it's metered and should be around $12.00 per taxi.

This is a quick easy trip about 10-15 min or so depending on traffic.

Yes, it is Port Everglades although I don’t know the address for that, it should be in your cruise documents. If you’re taking a cab or similar transportation, they would know exactly where to take you. It’s not a problem.
 

At disembarkation it is very easy to leave the ship and get a taxi, they are lined up right outside of the place where you pick up your luggage. Quick and easy.

I agree with the others...take a taxi. There will be huge numbers of them lined up when you get off.

Thanks so far, everyone.  Interesting the majority so far is suggesting a taxi > Uber.  Roughly $12/taxi sounds great!  😁

PE is one of the easiest ports to use a taxi. No sense in looking for your Uber/Lyft.
