First time booking with an agent and with Princess. The cruise fare seemed to be the same before and during the sale. I've seen a post about not getting 3rd/4th passenger free under the 3 day sale. 3rd/4th must not have been free for this sailing before the sale as the pricing didn't change. The OBC conversation was confusing. At the agency during booking I was quoted $680USD total OBC. Then when I looked at my papers it stated $370USD OBC. So I emailed and was later advised that I am receiving $610USD OBC plus 2 coupon books. I can't make the math work with what has been posted. The 3rd and 4th free would apply if your sailing was eligible. I booked several with free 3rd and 4th and got the OBC. As others have posted the OBC depends on type of room and length of cruise. 3rd and 4th get $20 per person per day regardless of room type/length. An oceanview would get $20 per person, per day for 1st and 2nd. If the sailing came with any additional OBC that would be added on afterwards.

Look in the cruise personalizer go to payments and scroll down to a box showing break down of OBC. 3&4 th May get less then $30 pp per day. Thanks. I see the same $370 total that was on my documents. I'll be calling the travel agent again Monday.

The place I see my OBC under the Payments- scroll to bottom of page Each passenger should also have an account. see above post by ceilidh1. Mine is in next post on princess website. What is the length of your cruise? In an oceanview you would get $20 pp per day. So for 7 days it would be $140 per person for a total of $560. In addition, the agency often has a small obc for their bookings that would be on top of that.

I think Oceanview was $20 pppd, so that would be $280 for the first two people. Then the agency obc was $50, so that brings it up to $330. I'm not sure what the other $40 was for, unless it is an eight day sailing. If the kids were free it makes sense that you wouldn't get obc for them.

Call. Good luck. Alaska is a wonderful cruise! Sorry for the confusion - 3rd and 4th get $20 per person total (not per day). I have had so many numbers floating around my head the past three days that it's tough to keep track. I've gone back to check on all the bookings I made (a few with 3rd/4th) and the credit has all applied correctly. I cancelled and rebooked 6 sailings as the pricing was exactly the same but they were able to get the OBC in addition. None were tied to their original rooms (though I was able to get the same room back after I cancelled) and only one had other components booked (EZ Air and specialty dining) but as soon as I rebooked they were able to go back and redo both. The rest of my bookings were either higher priced or the client wasn't interested in messing with the original.

dog Posted June 11 #139 Share Posted June 11 So, Word of caution: Read the fine print & get every detail in writing before giving your credit card If over the phone-have agent send detailed costs etc in an email before giving your credit card. members are kind to share what they know---they are not the ones charging your credit card---so do your research thoroughly. Hope all works out. Thanks to OP for posting about the sale. We got $1800 US + 4 coupon books on our 2 transatlantic sailings for 2025 & 2026. close to same fare with Princess but no perks with Princess. We just re-booked two of our five sailings under the Sale. Surprisingly, even though we got the full OBC for both, only one of the two received the $25/pp "Travel Agency Grp Promotion". Not sure why one was disqualified, and it's the first time since we used this Sale that a booking didn't get the little extra. Still, we'll have more OBC than we can probably use ;o)

Which gave me $900 US in each booking. One is 14 days & one is 15 days. So, it depended on which button was selected.

I would say that 90% of sailings do have a group hold since the agency is so big (the group rate is sometimes much less, sometimes much more - you don't need to book at the group rate to receive the extra OBC). If you are on a sailing that does not have the group hold, there would be no additional OBC .

So far the TA isn not responding to my email request to honour the verbal commitment. The entire transaction seems unprofessional to me. I will be escalating. I have proof of the commitment.
