We enjoy good cocktails while dining in the specialty restaurants, which are included if you have the premium beverage package. They are a nice compliment to a fine meal.

Not everyone drinks..but I did get a nice exotic  cocktail at Raw on 5..

Hope generally we can stick to dining per se..it was  refreshing to see a thread that is not about bars, alc packages or free drinks at the social hour. They are proliferating!

My last 2 sailings I have skipped the Specialty as I didn't find them any better than Aqua on food or service, not bad but not worth the extra cost.  Murano has not really updated the menu for years and the last 2 times i went there the food was good but not anything great.  I did enjoy Tuscan, but the cost just doesn't make sense, I have been very happy in Aqua, able to get special orders, pays to be nice to the waiters and get to know them. If I had extra OBC maybe, but that tends to get used in the Spa instead.  Probably if I do an E class might try Eden but thats about it.

Rather than MDR as choice, wouldn't the term Designated Dining Room suffice? That might cover AQ and the sweet people.

Or perhaps indicate the poll is designed to sample Celebrity cruisers who are assigned MDR.

Our next sailing is on Apex. After over 36 cruises with X. I'm going to have an early dinner in Luminae with friends. Then order Prime Rib for dinner in my suite. I've never had dinner in my suite before. The reason is I can not order off the MDR menu in Luminae on the E Class ships.
