Rare YVRteacher Posted July 21 Author #1051 Share Posted July 21 @ceilidh1 I’m getting better at being a night person. Last night I closed down the bar! This bar closed at 11:00pm, but still… First I thoroughly enjoyed a chocolate martini Then, on a savvy recommendation, I ordered what will now be the first of many Toasted Almonds. The comedian came to the bar and I enjoyed chatting with him until the most offensive, drunk on red wine, foul-mouthed 64 year old with no class or decorum joined in. I had to tell her to stop touching me and to respect my space.

We love and would chase beautiful sunset, especially when we are on the Pacific side of the ocean. Not to worry, you will soon (should ??) be turning the clock back(ward) in the other direction when crossing into other time zones once heading west.

Rare YVRteacher Posted July 21 Author #1065 Share Posted July 21 Happy Hour today included a first for Good Spirits: how to make a Tito’s with soda and a splash of cranberry. Not only were we treated to the demonstration but a recipe card was carefully crafted. I now have a complete set of Good Spirits cocktail recipe cards. Yay! My drinks this afternoon were a Prosecco with pineapple and a birthday cocktail (it is not my birthday: the mixologist felt like making one.)
Rare YVRteacher Posted July 21 Author #1066 Share Posted July 21 There was nearly a bar brawl today over whether the drapes should be open to let in the stunning views and sunshine or shut to keep the light out. For the record, I am on team sunshine.

One of the bartenders at the Good Spirits bar recommended it when I was looking for something different. Sometimes I order a double. Looks like they forgot to sprinkle a little cocoa on top.

There are 100 guests under the age of 21. Two years ago for Spring Break on the NCL Bliss there were 1200 kids (under the age of 18) on board. 4
