Drinks on a cruise in Alaska?

We usually cruise in the Caribbean and have tropical drinks during the cruise. What are good drinks to have on an Alaska cruise?

All the cruise lines have multiple bars ranging from wine to martini to pretty much anything.   I guess, I am not sure that region of the world matters to the bar list?

But does glacier ice taste any different from ice made from clean purified water.  Not really.

But you wouldn't know until you try it! And they can charge more! 😆

Just got off the Radiance, hot toddy and irish coffee were 2 of the drinks of the day, and quite tasty. They also had some local Skagway spirits available.

That being said, a tropical drink in the hot tub still tastes as good as it does in the Caribbean.

Where else can you get a chunk of ice thousands of years old? 🤣 I had a glacierita on the Tracy arm excursion, and the Glacier 🧊 tasted like water. 🤷‍♀️

Seals pee on that ice. Adds a unique flavor.

  • 3 weeks later...

Just back from a rainy/cool July week in Alaska.  Irish Coffee was a go to for me both in the morning and after some of our wet excursion days.
